I want to introduce to you Mr. Sodico, an angry bird – sorry Lebanese – speaking about his country and the resistance in it in the below video. The video is in the Lebanese slang, so apologies for non-Arabic readers.
The guy is infuriated about lot of things in Lebanon, but basically he does make sense on how the resistance is and has always been exploited since 1970s by the people who appointed themselves its gurus.
This left the people who support the resistance wholeheartedly – like me – no choice but detest the whole thing, as it appeared to be the tool that everyone used to fuck up the country with. At its best, none of the people in the resistance thought what this country needed, but what others wanted, for them and us.
WARNING: the video is a must-listen but not when your nephews or kids are around due to its explicit nature. Between each swear word and another swear word, there is another swear word! 3anjad kis ikhtak malla balad.
